Abstract

Computed Tomography (CT) is used for the evaluation of bronchial, lung and mediastinal abnormalities in humans. Thoracic radiography is commonly used in veterinary medicine for the diagnosis of thoracic diseases, but in most cases this modality is insufficient for definitive diagnosis and as a result treatments are inadequate. The superiority of CT with its ability to provide crosssectional images has been reported in earlier studies. CT related studies started in veterinary medicine at the end of 1990s, but these studies are limited in our country.
